pik.li, a service of InCloud S.r.l., uses few cookies and few similar technologies. This page lists them all and explains what they are for and how long they last. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies, and short-link statistics are collected without storing anything on the device of the person who opens the links.
Necessary
Strictly necessary tools, used without consent under Article 122 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. They are set by pik.li, except where indicated.

Preferences
With your consent, we remember the light or dark theme in the browser's local storage (“pikli-theme”). It is the only item in this category that pik.li saves on your device. Refusing does not limit the service: the theme will simply follow your system setting.
Paying for a plan or a domain takes you to the payment provider's website (PayPal or NOWPayments): nothing of theirs is loaded into pik.li pages. The Google reCAPTCHA anti-bot check does not depend on this category and is described below.
Resources loaded from third parties
Some pages load files from external providers. To deliver them, the browser sends those providers your IP address and technical data. Fonts and the charting library are not among these files: we serve them from our own servers. None of the providers below sets advertising cookies through pik.li.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: network and security in front of every page and every short link; if it shows a security check, it sets the technical cookie described above. Place of processing: EU and USA.
- Google reCAPTCHA: invisible anti-bot check on the forms for logging in, registering, recovering a password, reporting a link and creating a link from the home page. Google receives your IP address and technical data about the browser and about interaction with the page, and may set its own cookies. It is loaded before the cookie choice because it is a security measure necessary to protect those forms: making it subject to consent would leave the forms unprotected for anyone who refuses.
- PayPal, NOWPayments: you are redirected to their websites to pay; they process the payment in accordance with their own privacy notices and load nothing on pik.li.
pik.li does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Short-link clicks are counted on our servers: the visitor's IP address is never stored in clear text, only as a hash computed with a key that changes every day, and no cookie is set on the link domains, except the one-hour unlock cookie for password-protected links.
How to give or withdraw consent
Use the shield-shaped button in the bottom corner of every page to reopen the panel and change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings.
Blocking necessary cookies in the browser may prevent you from logging in or creating links. Refusing the optional category has no effect on the service.

- A space in the browser where a website can save data without using a cookie; pik.li uses it only for the theme, with your consent.

- Any technology (cookies, local storage, identifiers, scripts) capable of storing or reading information on your device.
