pik.li, a service of InCloud S.r.l., uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. This page lists every one of them, what it does and how long it lasts. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies, and the statistics of your short links are collected without placing anything on the visitor's device.
Necessary
Strictly necessary tools, used without consent under article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive. They are set by pik.li itself, except where noted.

Preferences and external content
With your consent, we remember your light or dark theme in the browser's local storage ("pikli-theme"). It is the only element of this category that pik.li stores on your device. Refusing does not limit the service: the theme simply follows your system setting.
Paying for a plan takes you to the site of the payment provider (PayPal, NOWPayments or Stripe): nothing from them is loaded on pik.li pages. The anti-bot check on the sign-up forms, when enabled, uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which does not track you across sites; if Google reCAPTCHA is enabled instead, it is loaded only after your consent to this category.
Resources loaded from third parties
Some pages load files from external providers. To deliver a file, your browser sends them your IP address and technical data. Typefaces and the charting library are not among them: those we serve from our own servers. None of the providers below sets advertising cookies through pik.li.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: network and security in front of every page and every short link; when enabled, the Turnstile anti-bot check on sign-up. Place of processing: EU/USA.
- Google reCAPTCHA (only if enabled): anti-bot check on sign-up, login, password reset, abuse reports and link creation; Google may set its own cookies. It loads before the cookie choice, because it is a security measure needed to provide the service: making it depend on consent would leave the forms unprotected for anyone who declines.
- PayPal, NOWPayments, Stripe: you are redirected to their sites to pay; they process the payment under their own privacy policies and do not load anything on pik.li.
pik.li does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Clicks on short links are counted on our servers: the visitor's IP address is never stored in clear text, only a hash with a key that changes every day, and no cookie is placed on the link domains except the one-hour unlock cookie of password-protected links.
How to give or withdraw consent
Use the shield button at the bottom corner of every page to reopen the panel and change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings.
Blocking necessary cookies in the browser may prevent you from logging in or creating links. Refusing the optional category has no effect on the service.
